Both departments accept complaints regarding insurance companies, agents, and public adjusters. Complaints are typically reviewed within 7–10 business days. If your policy was issued in a state other than Georgia or South Carolina, you must file your complaint with the insurance department of the state where the policy was issued.

Privacy & Records

Client information — including policy numbers, claim documents, photos, estimates, and correspondence — is held in confidence and used only for the purpose of advancing the client’s claim. Records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years after claim closure, as required for licensure compliance. Clients may request a copy of their complete file at any time at no cost.
